Bellamy Cedar Watson It's so hard to choose a favorite track, here. I love all the songs so much! I've actually changed it twice already. I was so excited to get this in edition to the demo, even though it has half the same songs. Any new songs are a bonus! I love this band. Favorite track: A Letter to Mr Mulbain.

The Weird World Music & Lyrics by H.M. Arrangement by The Gin Rebellion It's the weird world with nothing left to lose You close your eyes and take a breath and sink into the ooze This strange place confused and upside down you wonder how you got here as you're chased down by a clown in a carnival freakshow Oooo You look around for a place to hide but theres cardboard people everywhere you think that you are going mad as you sink into dispair Oooo Walking through the door is easy existing is not the same outside where the wind is freezing inside is a burning flame echoing a haunting refrain echoing inside your brain Oooo And so we send you on a journey past the point of no return deeply down into the chasm through the fire, don't get burned and if you make it through the horrors maybe you will learn some things just have to be earned Oooo

A Letter To Mr. Mulbain Music & Lyrics by Ophelia Baptista Arrangement by The Gin Rebellion Good sir, do not read me wrong. Your proposal’s sincere, Though it’s just a bit strong. No doubt you have made yourself clear, But a heart cannot love when it’s given in fear. And no doubt, I’ve heard it before. Your words echo of one Whom I cared and adored. And just like him you’ve offered your vow, But the bruises have healed and I know better now. I wrapped myself ‘Round his finger And he promised me the world, but did he deliver? And I had quite enough Growing older while waiting For him to grow up. Kind sir, forgive me, it’s true. A battered suit of armor Stands before you. I am protected and hindered by doubt As it stands it’s unlikely I’ll ever come out. So go ahead and praise my design. Go and wait by the gate And hope I will resign. Four long years, I’m sure you may feel Are enough to recoup from that painful ordeal. But you see I Am contented To lock my heart up in a jar and protect it. And who knows how long it will take? Though I know it may shrivel At least it won’t break. To me, sir, love is like a cage: Forged with good intentions Until it’s engaged. The ring shackles a woman to losing Her name, her fortune, and her will to choose! I’m not willing, I’m not ready And this back and forth longing Makes me unsteady. So don’t tell me what I should do When you cannot prove Your words will remain true! I only answer To my whims Do not try to persuade me. It’s useless! So my friend, I must bid you adieu So that with this final word may I be Signed, sealed, and delivered From you.

Tin Body, Clockwork Mind Music & Lyrics by Ophelia Baptista Epilogue by H.M. Arranged by The Gin Rebellion She was flesh when he found her, Lifeless and torn. With tin he repaired her: A hybrid reborn. She opened her eyes the Doctor smiled with pride But didn’t know his creation wanted to be a bride. He dressed her in satin, curled her fair golden hair, Oiled her ankle and shoulder, tuned her fingers with care. He brought her to his peers. “Abomination!” They cried. They stripped him of his license. He tossed her aside. Now each night she sings: “Hold me! Hold me! I want to be loved And learn of this feeling I’ve only dreamed of. I will wander forever, Until the day I find One who’ll love this tin body for my clockwork mind.” She wandered to a dance hall; they took her in. Paid her two bits an hour tor the wages of sin. Each man claimed to love her. Only one really did. His heart was of flesh, but his arm was of tin. It wasn’t long till they argued through the nights and the days And a longing stirred within her for them to part ways. She stole away his ship, cried: “So long, it’s been fun, But the future is calling, so I really must run! “To someone who will hold me, oh hold me I want to be loved And learn of this feeling I’ve only dreamed of. I will wander forever Until the day that I find One who’ll love this tin body for my clockwork mind!” Then she found a mapmaker lost in the rain Who searched all dimensions to find home again. He said: “I look for my love, she is as just as fair as you” She said: “I will help you if there’s something you’ll do? “If you would just please Hold me! Hold me! I want to be loved And learn of this feeling I’ve only dreamed of I will wander forever, Until the day I find One who’ll love this tin body for my clockwork mind.” He turned away from her, she took his maps and she ran To roam all creation again and again. Now to this day no one knows where’s she’s gone, But if you listen closely you can still hear her song. “Hold me, hold me I want to be loved And learn of this feeling I’ve only dreamed of I will wander forever Until the day I find One who’ll love this tin body for my clockwork mind.” She said, “Hold me! Hold me!” She wanted to be loved And lost that sweet feeling She’d only dreamed of She did wander forever Until the day she died– Collapsing into pieces, with her clockwork mind.

The Vagabond 05:17
The Vagabond Music & Lyrics by Ophelia Baptista Arrangement by The Gin Rebellion I once stopped in a tavern In Liverpool by the sea, And there I met a hooded man And said he this to me: “Never take for granted What you have, or who you are Or you’ll end up as nothing but spare parts! For I was a thief you see A king of piracy A vagabond of the best But one night I lost my hand While stealing contraband And near put my career to rest. But I knew a doctor who Had dealt with clockwork too, And he had made me a new hand With dials, gears, and locks And antique pistol stocks, And other little bits of brass. With my new hand I could steal all I desired No man could match my new power. I once stole a constable’s helmet right off of his head And he didn’t even notice for an hour! With all the wealth I gained Sought even greater fame Only the best could suffice. But the only tricky part, Was that all my human parts Could not keep up with my device. So I gave the doc I knew A job he’d not refuse To set about my new plan Said: ‘Doc, I’ll tell ya what: I’ll steal to buy the parts. Make me a brass and clockwork man!’ I was faster, stronger with each new metal part Clockwork legs can never grow tired When you can jump across rooftops and never leave footprints behind Why would you ever want to retire? My joints plated with chrome. My heart: a pump and metronome. Both blood and oil run through my veins. My lungs: two silken bags From ladies’ bustle rags. My only part left was my brain. Didn’t know that my device Came with a hidden price, With marble eyes I could not see That with every human part That I had made depart Would go a bit of memory. And gone from my mind was everyone that I knew, Neither family nor friends can I claim. I forgot the place where I was born, and where I was raised I even forgot my own name! I stole from the few people that I recognize Though I don’t know what they mean to me. I have now hats and purses, Other little bits of junk But of my mind, I still have no reprieve! So never take for granted what you have or who you are Or you’ll end up as nothing but spare parts!”

Lyrics by Edward Lear Music by H.M. The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea In a beautiful pea green boat, They took some honey, and plenty of money, Wrapped up in a five pound note. The Owl looked up to the stars above, And sang to a small guitar, 'O lovely Pussy! O Pussy my love, What a beautiful Pussy you are, You are, You are! What a beautiful Pussy you are!' Pussy said to the Owl, 'You elegant fowl! How charmingly sweet you sing! O let us be married! too long we have tarried: But what shall we do for a ring?' They sailed away, for a year and a day, To the land where the Bong-tree grows And there in a wood a Piggy-wig stood With a ring at the end of his nose, His nose, His nose, With a ring at the end of his nose. 'Dear pig, are you willing to sell for one shilling Your ring?' Said the Piggy, 'I will.' So they took it away, and were married next day By the Turkey who lives on the hill. They dined on mince, and slices of quince, Which they ate with a runcible spoon; And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand, They danced by the light of the moon, The moon, The moon, They danced by the light of the moon.

Perfect 05:04
Perfect Music & Lyrics by Ophelia Baptista Arrangement by The Gin Rebellion “Perfect”, my mother said When I was a child right before bed. “Perfect, why would you want to be? In a world that’s full of grief and hate? No, it’s better to anticipate And listen to what I’d wish someone told me!” She said: “When you get older The world will be your oyster The streets are paved with dreams and you will find That if you are good and do just as you should There is no doubt that you will lose your mind. Now I know that you may think That life’s a funny thing And exceptions do often pass the line. But the rules are for fools when it comes to get the jewels, And my dear, you will simply waste your time! The charms of the world may offer you its bliss But beware any man who offers you a kiss Just take what you can and leave them all behind. And believe me, my dear, if you do not to me heed And offer your heart whene’er you feel the need, Don’t come crying to me when he off and robs you blind! You will see, my child, That no person can be perfect There are tramps and thieves from every walk of life. Some say they are good and do what they think they should, But every day they’re fooled by their own lies! And I know that you might say not everyone’s that way, That saints among the sinners do reside Try to prove me wrong. They don’t last that way for long, And your choice is to join with them or die. Virtue is often absent From the minds of great and immortal men. Naysayers only aim to deceive. The young always protest the truth, But someday, someone will break you, And you’ll wake up to reality! And on that day, it’ll be perfect. It’ll be perfect! An unfettered heart’s the way, the only key. You’re a pawn all the same, unless you play the game And do not stop until you’ve killed the Queen! And then my child, you will see the opportunity That lies in all the clever and naive, And exploit all you can, for that is the way of man: The rich, the poor, and all the bourgeoisie!

The Cross-Coastal Tango Music & Lyrics by Ophelia Baptista Arrangement by The Gin Rebellion So here we are again, my friend Is it in joy or sadness do we meet? How long have we waited for this time To embrace and yet still not say a thing? Through the air, through the wires I could not look away As your song played on my heart. It is clear our intentions don’t reflect our desires While a continent keeps us apart. I understand, or at least I think I do For we are far too much alike Two thousand miles makes us impossible To be satisfied by one night Many years since we’ve met Of broken dreams and broken hearts Now silently, awkwardly we reach. Are our roots so shallow in the state of where we are We fear falling in the space in between? And there is so much space in between! I know that you want me. You know that I want you. But as it stands currently, I cannot follow you And it’s not fair No, it’s not fair How we can’t say the words, But we know they’re still there. And I know they’re still there! So here we are again, my friend Worry not, for no one’s to blame We both agree this is the right thing to do But even that cannot heal the pain It may be unhealthy, call it what you will, But do we hurt more by having Or suspending it still? And is it all that wise Denying while gazing into each other’s eyes? When we know they are lies, Are we all that surprised?

The Attack Of The Evil Haunted Accordion Music & Lyrics by H.M. (Music Assistance by Renfield) Arrangement by The Gin Rebellion In a music hall is where it all begins where a man sat playin’ his black accordion. Everybody watched as he trilled up to a C, but he fell to his knees as he went up to an E. That accordion groaned with a resounding shrill. You knew it right away that it was out to kill and before you knew it, there wasn’t a sound, and that’s when everybody fell to the ground. The sky turned black, lightning struck all around. Terror broke out in every part of town. All the people cried out, but didn’t know even then, “It’s the attack of the evil haunted accordion. So the few survivors, gathered what they could rounding up supplies, looting liquor and food. They packed the accordion, looking to sell, but little did they know that it was straight from hell. The word traveled fast about that fateful night and the lack of a killer left a terrible fright. They thought it suspicious, “But it won’t happen again. It couldn’t have been that black accordion”. So they sold it to a man, a traveling magician in a circus of freaks, they were in poor condition. They thought that the music would play nice and loud, and that night as they drew in a crowd. That accordion groaned with a resounding shrill, you knew it right away that it was out to kill. Before you knew it, there wasn’t a sound, and that’s when everybody fell to the ground. The sky turned black, lightning struck all around terror broke out in every part of town All the people cried out, “Oh no, not again! It’s the attack of the evil haunted accordion”. As the legend grew of it’s demonic tone not a scoundrel alive couldn’t leave it alone. As the bodies stacked up again and again, they knew it had to be that black accordion. When That accordion groans with a resounding shrill, you know it right away that it is out to kill. Before you know it, there isn’t a sound and that’s when everybody fell to the ground The sky turned black, lightning struck all around. Terror broke out in every part of town, All the people cried out, “Oh no, not again! It’s the attack of the evil haunted accordion”. It’s the attack of the evil… the attack of the evil… It’s the attack of the evil haunted accordion

Freakshow 06:24
Freak Show Music & Lyrics by Ophelia Baptista Arrangement by The Gin Rebellion Come one, come all Come look at the fool who’s been nailed to the wall. He’s a fine breed, but not so rare. Come look him straight in the face if you dare. His is a fun house world, a hall of mirrors: Shifting, shaping, bending what’s real. He is a 5-star attraction. Come close, draw nearer! Let’s draw back the curtain, see what it reveals. In this carnival freak show He may say what he will, but a freak he is still. In this carnival freak show A ringmaster of lies just consumes and denies. In this carnival freak show He is plainly in view, yet he cannot see you. He’s a trained monkey displaying his tricks. He’s a slow burning candle with an extra long wick. He’s a bedroom showman, always on stage. He’s an overgrown boy who’s forgotten his age. He fears crimson entrapment and invisible chains, While looping them ‘round every female in range. He paints himself enlightened, yet dwells in the flesh, And pushes your head down further, leaves you without breath In this carnival freak show, On this mattress trapeze back and forth with great ease, In this carnival freak show, Proudly on display in his motley array, In this carnival freak show He won’t care how you feel since to him it’s not real. He’s a flawless talent, but with no heart. When you don’t have a soul, how can you call it art? He’s a false prophet, an author of shit, And like a fly I’ve spent my time buzzing around it. He’s a butterfly collector, all female and fair. He acts like he loves them, but he doesn’t care ‘Cause he loves his reflection, his frozen view. The sad thing is that I loved him too. Come one, come all Why look! I’ve nailed myself to the wall. I’m a fine breed, but so ignored. I’ve been captured, enraptured, and pinned to a board! In this carnival freak show Ladies say what you will, but a freak you’ll be still In this carnival freak show Proudly on display with our hearts torn and frayed In this carnival freak show A ringmaster of lies has all been ‘tween our thighs. In this carnival freak show So we can never win ‘cause we’ll always give in.
